Considering ITV owns this site - a small item could have been put in a news programme - or perhaps GR/ITV trying to hide it - hence no acknowledgement that anything is 'amiss'.

Methinks a newspaper or a BBC programme like 'Watchdog' would be interested.

I suggested this on another thread - I can see no reason why Genes cant sent an email to all members, explaining what is happening and what to do.

I have sent an email to all my contacts in my OE address book - hopefully it will get forwarded.

I agree that GR should should put a thread up telling its members what is going on. It is and will continue to put people off logging on to the site. xxxxx

Hi all :))

It would't take much for them to let us know what's going on.Even to say..yes we have a problem and are dealing with it.
Not a nice way to treat us.
The members have been of more help.

Bearing in mind that only a small minority of members use the boards, GR should be sending us all an email instead of those silly little "Is this your Ancestor?"
