Was on the phone today to a posh client.........we ended up discussing York and how lovely the place was.. He said " You sound like your from Lancashire "......I paused and thought out with anger in with love ......and said nicely .." No I'm not " He then said ............"well you have a very broad Manchester accent "....... |

When I worked for directory enquiries I had this random guy tell me that I sounded uneducated. It was about 10.30 at night and I was kn*ckered. I told him very politely whilst searching for his number that I probably was better educated than he was... he said he was studying for a degree in english I said whoppee 4 hours a week, here's your number, thankyou *click* fortunately we weren't monitored at that time of the night. Some people are so rude and it's very uncalled for. Unfortunately he just caught me on a bad day lol. |
