Could it be St. Helens (perhaps spelt as St. Hellens)? And the second word could be Southern or something. |

I put St Hellers Louthen into Google and someone's tree came up: Family Tree of David John Foster whith the name Joseph Knowles in it. He also thinks it is St Hellers Louthan with a big ???at the side. |

I'm trying to compare the enumerator's "S"s but he's not very consistent, so the last word could actually be Southern. |

I've got a Joseph Knowles( abt. 1845) on the 1871 census piece 3782 folio 63 page 22. birth place looks like St Weller's louthen. |
