Hi, I've just found what I believe is my grand uncle's death. None of the family knew him and as he died in a totally different area I am wondering if there is a way I can find out his last address apart from getting the death certificate or whether he ever marreid. |

Lou, did you mean 1999 or 1899? |

I would get a copy of the death certificate and find out who was the informant. |

If you get the cert you could search the electoral rolls for the address of the deceased and the informant (if different). |

Hi Glen, of course an obituary. Why is it that we often forget the simplest of things! Old age I suppose, thanks, will try and find local library and contact them, Good luck to everyone in your own research and thanks for your comments, Lou |

Hi Mandy, thanks for the offer, but I've got his birth certificate. When I found his death on Ancestry it gave the same birth date and area, that's how I know it's him. Thanks, Lou |
