Some names and dates will help. Tell us this and where he/she was from and I'm sure someone will be able to help. What info are you looking for?

i can tell you my great grandmothers name which is annie teresa maud webb she was born in 1908 in london her cousin was john webb and he was roughly 10 years older than her so he was born around 1898 i guess he was from london to
the reason im trying to trace him is my nan found out he is also her father so i got her birth certificate but all it says on there is father unknown as they were related

How would you be able to prove it?

I'm not sure what records you will be able to find - John Webb is a common name and I'm guessing there will be lots of them in the 1901 census, same for deaths, there will be hundreds.

no my great grandmother had my nan in 1928 which means she would of been 20 and john webb would of been 30 i was just wondering if i could trace him through other family members

No Sam
It doesn't read that he fathered a child when he was 10 only that he was 10 years older than the woman by whom he fathered the grandmother. He was the great grandmother's cousin.

Not going to be easy to find though simply because it is so common a name.

I'd go back a generation and find Annie's family on censuses then look for all her paternal uncles. Then work my way through all their families systematically.

If you haven't already get Annie's birth cert from March quarter 1908

Webb Annie Theresa M Lambeth 1d 296

Find her parents and look for her father and mother's marriage cert.
Get her grandfather's name from that and then look for his family on censuses.

This will give you any paternal uncles.

Follow them down through the censuses and when you find John Webb in around 1898 get his birth cert.

Find his date of birth and that just might be helpful because some death certs have dates of birth. BUT finding his death cert will not be easy unless you can find some of his descendants to exchange notes with.

It isn't going to be a quick project but it is possible.

You're welcome!
There are quite a lot of John Webbs born around the time you think he was but I spotted a couple in Lambeth (assuming he was from the same area as Annie).

If it were me though I'd explore every other possible route before trying to buy loads of certificates for John Webb as you need a bit more about him first or it could cost you a fortune and not help much even then.

Good Luck
