Dont pay anything, if you build a free tree on ancestry the details will appear on one world anyway.
When you go to search trees you will see the entries for various families in links families accross the world, but most of the contact details are out of date or locked. You can have a look at their trees and names lists with an ordinary membership.

I keep getting a pop-up on Ancestry asking if I want to put my tree on the One World Tree. Could someone please explain what that is exactly?

Regards

Olivia
