Hi,

May be a silly question, but how can you get to see an original parish record? Bearing in mind I'm on the other side of the country from where I need to see...? Areas in question are in Durham, Yorkshire and then Surrey for the other side of the family.

:S

Thanks

You can order filmed copies of parish registers from your nearest LDS Family History Centre (the addresses are on their website - www.familysearch.org), for a few pounds.

The centre keeps the film for about a month to give you time to view it.
