Hardly any deaths on there.........and for the time-scale you refer to, you'd stand more chance on the GRO anyway. |

IGI useful tool for looking before 1837 although prone to errors so care needs to be taken. |

ahhh that may explain things sam and reggie.Im looking for a death in the late 1800's and early 1900's although im begining to think he is still alive i cant find his death anywhere! |

Many parishes refused to allow the LDS to film their records......also, the records which are on line are rotated, so what is there this week may not necessarily be there next. |

Familysearch.org only has church records and they cover mainly up to mid 1800's so if you are looking for marriages in the 1900's then you most likely won't find them. |

Someone may have submitted a registry office marriage details but the IGI is generally compiled from transcribed church parish registers. |

Ive never used this before so i decided i would search for people i already know about so i can work out how to use it. Anyway im struggling to find people i already know about. So can someone tell me if they put weddings that were in a registry office on there or is it only church weddings? |
