Hi Minnie,
I would agree with you which is why I said initially that there should be a contact name given and I would email my concerns about the validity of their tree pointing out why.

unless you have quantifiable proof, and i'd have said consent of the owner - I dont think anyone has the right to alter anyone elses tree.

Hi Grannie,
You can contact the owner of any public tree via their email address which is given. I also think you may be able to amend details on the tree yourself.

on other peoples tree.I found last night a public tree with my gg granfather on.He had the wrong place of birth.He had 3 children listed out out of five one being my great grandfather and his birth place was also wrong.I dare say there was a lot more wrong with that tree. Annie
