I've tried to delete the errors which I've made, unfortunately because they have descendants I cannot do this. Would I be able to delete my complete tree and start again.?

Clickon the Help Centre at the top right side of this page, and on the left hand side of the next page under Complete FAQ Listing, where it says

Removing relations and deleting your tree
I have made a mistake with my tree, how can I correct it?
How do I delete my whole tree?

clickon, How do I delete my whole tree? and follow the instructions

but try reading, I have made a mistake with my tree, how can I correct it? First

You either have to delete the descendants first (starting with the nearest generation to the present day) or as you suggest delete the whole lot and start again.

Which is best depends on how big your tree is and how far into the tree the errors are.

TBH the Genes tree builder is pretty c**p when you have to try and edit or correct things,

Another option is to email GR & ask them to put it right from their end , but you will have to give them an explaination of what you need to be done.

Yet another option is to have your tree on your hard drive using Family History software.
Correct on your own PC then import to GR
