Finding a death pre 1837

Can anyone tell me where to start searching for a death prior to1837 please. |

The parish register for the church where the burial took place would be the only source of info. |

You can probably find copies at the relevent county records office. |

If you are lucky, the church you want may be transcribed onto the National Burial Index discs. If you want me to look, either post the details, or send me a message |
