I suppose the diarrhoea could, in theory, have cause him to get dehydrated and so could have been the immediate cause of death, but if he had had TB for six months his body might have been more weakened than usual. |

My gt gt grandfather died in 1893 of phthisis, 6 months diarrhoea. |
