Found this on National Archives: This will be the Williams' chap's naval record - which should be worth £3.50 as it gives you details of home address, dob, and ships that he served on. Plus all sorts of other snippets too if you're lucky: |

I have just had a really lucky break . Found George Samuel Layton on the CWG site His next of kin are listed and are correct .He was a PO Stoker on HMS Strongbow and died 17/10/1917. |
