Have you tried using a child's first name with the parents' first names? |

Margaret .... yes I did, in several variaions. I also tried using just the christian name and the county/parish (e.g. Ashton, Oldham, Manchester). |

I would appreciate a little help here. While this is a fairly unusual name, there are at least a couple of branches of the family throughout the 19th century. They exist under the correct spelling in a number of censii but I am having difficulty finding them in others. I have tried a range of alternative spelling but have had little luck. Perhaps the sleuths here could help me with some that I have not thought of. |
