Hi
What is the best way to keep records? Ive got them on my tree on here, but i find it difficult looking at that to remember who is who, if you know what i mean. Ive tried writing it all down but were it starts branching of i sort of lose track.
Any suggestions please?

I use FTM2005 software to record my information on the computer.

It only takes a couple of clicks of the mouse to bring up on screen either a descendants chart for any one person, or an ancestors chart, so it's easy to see who's who in the tree.

'Legacy Family Tree' software is excellent and free.
Very few features are disabled but if you really need the De-Luxe edition it's only $20.

The family tree WDYTYA is currently available on play.com for only £5.99 incl pp and 30 days free ancestry - incredible bargain. You can put all your gedcom on there from here in one go and then add your photos, documents, family trees, reports, lists of one line of your tree etc. , notes, send the lot to a home page on the internet so you can view it and let any rellies view it from their computers and you can back it up to cd and the internet storage. Bargain of the year I reckon.
