Thanks, I will try that.

I've not much to go on really. I only know that residence was stated on marriage cert as Llanhilleth and father George was already dead.

I did wonder if he died during Boer war.
The idea was to find other names of her family as I've become stuck.

I'm not sure if ER's were taken during WW1.......if they were, you'd need to know the address.

Why not get in touch with the appropriate main public library..........some of them will do ER searches.

They would at least be able to tell you whether the records exist.

Does anyone have access or can tell me where I can find information on who lived where in Llanhilleth in Monmouthshire in 1918?

I have very little information and thought this might help with names of others in the house if I can find which house.
