The BMDs in France are held in the town where the event occurred and copied in the County (Departement) archives. It follows that to find the maiden name of your Nan you need to know where she was born and/or married. Lille is a large city asnd will probably have more than one Town Hall so you do really need to know the location in Lille.
I must also advise you that the French are strict about the non-disclosure 100 year rule and in order to get information you will have to be able to give proof of your relationship. Heather has given some valuable pointers for you too.
One other point is, noting the age of this lady, is it possible that she married a British Serviceman just before, or after the War ?? if so maybe the marriage is listed in Army Records ??
Also good excuse to GO to Lille on the new Eurostar (only a couple of hours away from London), do some Xmas shopping and make enquiries at the Lille Archive.

Did your name marry over here or in France? Did she have children here? If so those certs will give her full maiden name.
