Have several of these in my family tree. Anyone know how I can find out more about their careers.

Dates various 1700's -1900's I am most interested in one that was a QC/KC late 1800's -early 1900's

Yes done that but no joy really. Just thought there might be registers or something if say they had acted on a famous case maybe.

Have a look in the Times Online index - they might get a mention! Or the Old Bailey site, if based in London area.

You could try contacting the Law Society. Not sure what they would hold but they may have an archives section ...
