Did they have census reports for the years 1821 and 1831, my gt gt gt grandmother Mary Baldwin was born in Shotesham St Mary in 1811, I have found a census for 1841, if they go back that far could some one look her up please |

As far as I know the first proper census was 1841. |

There were census taken from 1801 but before 1841 they were mainly just head counts. The 1841 is the first useful census for family history. |

Thanks every one for the info, if they didnt have the census before 1841, did they record the births and marriages, so you can get copies i,m trying to find the birth of my gt gt gt grandmother, Mary Baldwin born in Shotesham St. Mary, in 1810 or 11, but I dont even know who her parents areS.S.S. |

You would need to look at parish records for the area. You can see these at the county records office for the area or order them on film from your nearest LDS Family History Centre (addresses for these are on www.familysearch.org. |
