Do you mean on the census - people have kindly given examples here. But on any site, where you are trying to find info, like google searches etc. key words are the words that are the most important in the search. |

Other keywords could be names that dont appear with a family, they could be "inmates" "soldier" "visitor" "lodger" or if you know they were in an Asylum or "vessels" |

Keywords on the census are very useful. If you're looking for someone you know born/died in a particular registration district or town, but don't know exactly where. Type the place into the box & it'll cover the whole area. |
