Rita, Either copy/paste the link or if not you can goto http://www.cardiff.gov.uk then select Living, Then Births Deaths Marriages & Civil Partnerships, then Bereavement Services, then Other Bereavement Services, and FINALLY Genealogy Services!!

Also - have you tried searching on familyhistoryonline.net? You can search without credits so at least you can see if it's worth spending some money.

Sile - as far as i am aware the records are available but you have to pay for manual searches. I think it is on their website. Sorry for the delay in responding - i only check this thread now & again to bump it up the boards.

As an aside - Glamorgan FHS have transcribed some info so it might be worth contacting them?

Just thought i'd share this information. Cardiff cemetery services have transcribed all of their burial records back to 1912 (prior to this there is a fee for manual searches). They will search this index for free and supply burial information plus cemetery maps to locate the graves. I've used them a few times recently and i have to say they have been superb and have supplied me with several bits of information i didn't have before.
