	If you can find the birth of one of the chidren on Free BMD, get the volume and page number and order the certificate from GRO. This will give you the mother's maiden name. OR, look for the parents marriage on Familysearch. Or, if you're lucky there might be a mother-in-law living with them on one of the censuses. Or, find them on a census previous to the marriage. Look for the wife's first name and date and place of birth from the census when they were married. Or, ask for a look-up here. Lots of us willing to help. Margaret
