I haven't a clue what you are all talking about, pretty sure I am missing out on some useful stuff.

Would somebody like to produce a "handbook"?

Margaret sometimes it's easier if you can see 2 trees at the same time. These are various ways of doing this & this thread covers the ways that we know.

At one time "how do I view 2 trees at once?" was coming up weekly so rather than keeping typing the same stuff over & over I did this "how to" thread

The technique used to work for me but stopped working after one of GR's site upgrades. I still use the control+N on other sites (eg-ebay) and it works fine.

When I want to have 2 trees open at once I open mine in IE6 and the other person's in firefox. For some reason, I have never been able to update my own tree when I use the firefox browser (even if it is the only browser open), so I'm pretty much stuck with Internet Explorer.

Have successfully opened new window but can't find little blue arrow on top right . Can somebody help
