The BVRI discs have this christening in Bromley, Kent. Don't know how close this is to the places that you're interested in? |

East Malling is much closer to Maidstone and would not come under Chatham - or the Medway towns. If he was born in East Malling you won't find him on the Cityark site. |

Thanks Sue, I should have said that I had the 1841 census, sorry. I just can't seem to get farther back, pity place of birth is not on the 1841 census forms, and I haven't found them on the 1851 census, which might have given a more specific place of birth.. |

I have been trying to find the above, with his wife Bridget. Through GR, I have met a distant cousin who has also been searching for him. Can anyone give advice on his surname, as on IGI site, I came across the baptism record on 2nd April 1781 of Robert Waggon, from East Malling, Kent. East Malling I understand is in the Chatham area. |
