I was hunting for the parents of Mary Ann Bradshaw Ashton, born c 1822, couldn't find a christening or a marriage of her father to anyone. I discovered a child born post-1837 and got her certificate, and made the stupid assumption that her mother was the woman on her (half-sisters) certificate. |
