To search for a particular workhouse go to any census page i.e. 1901 click and if you know the name of the person you are looking for enter their detail as known and there is a box with "Keywords right at the bottom, type in workhouse in .......... |

Workhouses are listed on census's but some only give intials of inmates and not the full name, |
