You could read the tips threads on here. Maiden names of wives can be found from childrens birth certs - buy from GRO at £7 each. |

well from the last sighting you have of them you then need to find the marriage if there is one. from possible spouses you can then search on the next census to see if a Hubby has a wife of the Christian name you know. then get a birth cert of one of the children and see if mmn is the one you need. |
