Can anyone help. When my uncle died in 1988 his address was listed in Crossmay Street in Newcastle under Lyme. When I try to find the postcode or road name I am coming up blank. Is there anyone out there that knows about road name changes in this area in the past 20 years.
Thank you
Maureen

Would he have been in a phone directory? How sure are you of the address - is it easy to read?

Hello Tom and Heather.
I live in London so had to rely on what is written on the Death Certificate.
Never thought to seperate the word, (that is too simple an answer for me) on the death cert it is written with the may attached and small m. I have never met my uncle so do not know if he would of been in the phone book but suspect that his children probaly are, if you could be of any help in that line.Thank you.

Hi Maureen,
I have the current B.T Phone book for the area,
If you can give me some names ( on here or by pm) I will take a look for you.
