The funeral was 1914,he lived in Saltergate, and I believe his service was at Mount Zion, Brampton, he was a primitive methodist. I will have a look on GENUKI, I have tried putting in General Cemetery Chesterfield but nothing seems to come up. Many thanks. |

We were in Chesterfield at the weekend researching my husbands relatives, and the orbituary for William Edwin Harvey MP stated he was buried in the General Cemetary, Chesterfield, we asked in the Library where this cemetery was, and they did not know, but thought it could be Spital Cemetery. It was rather late in the day and Spital Cemetery was quite big, so we weren't successful. William's brother who died in Brampton was buried in Spital Cemetary.Does anyone know about the cemeteries in Chesterfield please? |
