As to where she was born all i can say is that According to 1911 Census she was married then.

She wrote down Liverpool lancs

But i have not been able to locate her there with birth cetificates or on 1901 1891 census

Her marriage certificate has her living in ebbw vale

1911 census she is at the house she
died at 1912 rose terrace beaufort ebbw vale .

Her death has the same address as her sons birth certificate

1912 one week before she died.

Von say her father was down as John Benjamin not Benjamin John

and had it checked for father Benjamin.

Would they send it?


The church which would have held the records for who paid for the plot have had most of there records destroyed in a fire.

If you are having several checked.

For instance:


Some are Dorothy Emily Williams With ref:no

Some are just Emily Williams with ref:no

They will match it with the first name only.

So if you want them both checked do them as seperate orders.

Otherwise you end up paying for a check for nothing because they won't use initiative (SP) my mind is all over the place with frustrated anger and disappointment. arghhhhhh!

Emily Dorothy doesn't exsist at all.

As my grandson would say she's just a chemical spillage whatever that means lol.

I hate her now lol.

So remember first name only is checked.

If you are not absolutely sure that the father's name is going to be put down in correct order just leave it blank so that they send certificate.


They only take notice of the first name so if say his

name was charles bertram and it was put down as

bertram charles they would not think oh this is

obviously the man just uses his second name

instead of first.
They would just say it was incorrect.
Just got off the phone to GRO must admit the woman went out of auto after speaking to me she was laughing at the end.

And said she hoped i'd get what i was hoping for when the new certificates come.
