A few members kindly found my relative Adam Fagan and family in census', i knew he was in royal artiliary and he has since been (PROBABLY) found in 1861 and 1871 under the names patrick fagan and timothey fagan. all other details such as age, place and year of birth match, just the name. i would like to know how to find when and where he joined the army. any help on this would be greatly appreciated. thanks Leanne.

have you tried looking for him under all names on the national archives site/ i got an army record from there from 1825 - 1849 so you may get lucky
