I have found a family member from the 1793s ,the parish where they lived,and parents names, her father was a husbandman,(i think thats a farmer) How do i find out where the farm was? Any help would be appreciated Thanks Chris |

Have you looked for Wills?.... Sometimes these will give names of farms etc. to define who inherited which part of land. Gwyn |

Find out where the main archive collection for the area is held and if their collections are searchable online, put the names in the search. There may be records that can be photocopied. |

You could try the County Record Office for Land Tax Records. From 1762 the records not only included the name of the land owner but also that of the occupier. Chris |
