I am not sure if you could trace them through the National Archives. I Have phoned them a couple of times and they have been really helpful. This is their contact no: +44 (0) 20 8876 3444 Our lines are open as follows: Monday 09:00 - 17:00, Tuesday 10:00 - 19:00, Wednesday 09:00 - 17:00, Thursday 09:00 - 19:00, Friday 09:00 - 17:00, Saturday 09:30 - 17:00, Sunday Closed I have also just had a look on there and there are searches for Military such as Army and Navy - I don't know if that is just enrollments as such - but it is worth a try. Good luck Julie |
