Hello, I have the marriage certificate - my grandparents Lily Robinson & Edward Roberts were married on 20.04.08 in Hampstead.

she would have been 13/14 in 1901 so certainly old enough to have been in domestic service

Lily Robinson was born in 1887, West Ham. I've found her in 1891 living with parents Frances & Edward at 22 Lansdowne Road, West Ham. By 1901 both parents had died & my Aunt says that Lily lived with her elder sister Jane. Lily went into service as soon as she was old enough (?) for a family called Hughes who lived in Hampstead. Perhaps she was there in 1901 but I can't find her! Neither is she with her sister Jane's family. Have started trawling through various Hughes' records in Hampstead but can't find a domestic servant called Robinson. Maybe her name has been misspelt. Would appreciate any help!
