Has anybody obtained records of personnel by enclosing a photocopy of the death index rather than the death certificate? Just trying to avoid paying the £7 for a copy of my grandads death certficate if I can help it. Thanks |

Would have thought it unlikely unless the person had a very rare name. Why don't you ask them? |

I did but I'm not convinced the lady I spoke to knew what I was saying. His name is Arthur Hale Waterton so it is very unusual. Not seen any others anyway! |
