Jane Do you know the parish where the marriage took place, Jersey is divided into 13 parishes. The Jersey Archieves has indexes of all parishes, these are arranged by year & then name, this gives a references - which can then be used by the Superintendant Registrar to obtain a marriage certificate. Jersey Archive, Clarence Road, St Helier, JE2 4JY Reception: +44 (0)1534 833300 Reader Enquiries: +44 (0)1534 833333 Fax: +44 (0)1534 833301 Opening Hours: 9am to 1pm, 2pm to 5pm Tuesday to Thursday. The Archive is closed between 1pm and 2pm. The Superintendent Registrar, 10 Royal Square, St. Helier, Jersey JE2 4WA. Telephone (01534) 502335. Office Hours 9.30 a.m.to 12.30 p.m. However, if you plan a trip you can look at the registers for free and copy the details. Hope this helps Rachel |
