Does anyone know what might have caused someone to appear on a microfiche as a small cross directing is to a handwriten note at the bootom of the page, which directed us to a fiche for almost 21 years later? Looking at the point suggested, My husband's Grandfather is detailed on the fiche in the normal way. His birth second quarter of 1915 and he was found finally found on the first quarter of 1936. What I'm wondering, is what might have caused this? was it to do with ww1 perhaps? and has anyone else come across similar problems??
