Mine (MSN) turned up 583 sites for "blackpole worcester" and 25 for "blackpole worcester history" It seems to have been an industrial area right back from the stone-age. It did have a small industrial steam railway until about WW1 (Rubery & Frankley railway). See: http://www.miac.org.uk/industry.htm I suspect that you might get loads of locals responding to your request!
