Just spent almost two hours altering all my places of birth (almost 200 in my tree)so they appear as 'county' then 'town or village'. Hopefully this should make things easier for others who may be searching for these names. It would make life much easier if everyone could make sure they put in a county as well as a town. Sometimes there are several towns or villages with the same name in different counties. I've even looked up some places listed in people's trees in a UK Atlas and they don't exist anymore! So please everyone, little things like recording counties can save everyone a huge amount of time and they only take seconds to key. Sorry to whinge (I've had a few lagers and I'm feeling mean!!)
