If anyone is searching for a marriage in Co.Durham before 1837 try the link page for Durham on the Genuki site. There is a list of towns and parishes many of which have searchable indexes under Church Records. There are some baptism indexes too. Also for those whose ancestors were coal mine employees - especially if they were involved in mining accidents, try the Durham Mining Museum website. There's some interesting stuff on there.
