I just thought I'd add a tip of encouragement .. NEVER GIVE UP. I've had some great links from this site tracking my one great grandmother back to 1600's and another grandmothers family back that far as well.Thanks to the people who contacted me for their generosity. On top of that, I found stacks of stuff on the mormons LDS site found in the links at the bottom left of this page and have become a transcriber for the free BMD (link also on this page). The LDS site is good but it only has about 5% of France on it which has frustrated me. But by NEVER giving up .. and being inventive about searching the internet today I hit upon a school website in france that provided me with a link to the french side of my family that goes back to 1675! just wanted to share that with you! * dances off singing"
