I am new to Genes Connected and would like to seek some advice. I have seen mentioned the "1837 online site" in various answers to questions on tracing various ancestors. Could someone please advise me how I get onto this. Thanks very much Sheila Powell

The 1837 site lists Birth, Marriages and Deaths from 1837, almost to the present day. It costs 10p to view each page, but sometimes you can have hundreds to plough through. I have found that if you have a rough idea of dates, you can usually find what you want. Hope you are lucky.
