Also, there are some wonderful people on this site who will try their best to help us. A question for some of the more knowlegable members of GC. I only know my Irish grandfathers name and where he lived in Ireland - I have nothing else to go on, though I could hazard a guess that he would have been born in the last quarter of the 1800's as my mother was born in 1913. Can anyone recommend where I should go from here, for example should I try to obtain a copy of my mother's birth cert and what info is required to obtain such a cert. Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	I have a list of parishes & names & addresses for parish priests for most of Cork if anybody wants information. I wrote to two parish priests over there with a donation and rec'd a wealth of information from them. One answered within 10 days,the other took a month.
