That's pretty obvious, I forgot to add a title to my letter and can't find how to edit. Sorry. Diana, Vancouver.

Diana As you cannot click on your title to open the message I'm afraid that you will have to write again. For the record - to update/change your message you click on the title and just above the box with your message in it says 'Update Message'. Click on that and your email box re-opens and you can edit your message. Then send again to complete. Yours Vera B, Manchester, UK

Diana's original message: "I knew little about my mother's family, but remembering a few brief remarks-one branch of the family emigrated to Wisconsin in the 1850's, mention of Aunt Lottie who became a schoolteacher there, the name Weir, Arnold, Aunt Betsy, being given an old writing box with the name Jesse inside the lid,- I was off to a good start to find my line of Jones. I found G Granddad Jesse on the 1880 consus, married to Ann Weir, with children Ellen (Aunt Nell), Elizabeth (Aunt Betsy, John William (Granddad), married to Elizabeth Arnold, and others.I found what must be Jesse's Uncle John in the LDS 1880 US census, with wife Ann and Charlotte, (Aunt Lottie) now a teacher, and a son born in the USA in 1861. Not verified, but too many coincidences. So I sent for Jesse's birth cert; May 21, 1845, in Floore Northants father Thomas as I expected, mother Charlotte Jones, formerly Crawley, and now I too have hit the brick wall, because nowhere can I find evidence of their marriage. I have an idea she may have been Charlotte Elizabeth or vice versa, but can't find a marriage of Thomas and Elizabeth, most likely in Floore, sometime between 1828 ( Thomas was christened 9/19/1808) and 1844., either. Any ideas or assistance would be greatly appreciated.I had a brainwave and entered "family tree Jones" and got back a listing of 297,398 sites, many with not much relevance, but also a lot of Jones famiy tree web sites. I think I've checked out about 200 so far!!!! Diana, Vancouver."
