Hi, Does anyone know where I should start looking for information on family born in India during 1800 (military). Are there any online records etc?? Thanks Steve

The GRO holds Army regs. At the mo only indexes are availabe to the public at FRC and Pro. Try to get a copy of Tracing your ancestors in the PRO by Amanda Bevan. I got mine in the local library, full of info.
