	Vivien/Vivienne The birth, marriage and death indexes from 1837 onwards which are held at Myddleton Street are available on microfiche in most large libraries around the country, if you can't get to London

Member Since: April 2003 Posts: 114 Send Message	HiViv, Armed with the same info as you,I went to the FRC in Myddleton St London and looked it up. When you find the entry, it will also show a number, you go to the main desk, and fill in the appropriate form, pay £6 or £7, and the certificate is then mailed to you. I have several in my possession ;) Good Luck

Member Since: February 2003 Posts: 23 Send Message	Has anyone any tips on obtaining a copy of a birth certificate when the only information I have is a name, a date of birth and the father's name. It could be that this person was adopted, how could I find out? I would be grateful for any help. Thanks.
