Thank you both I am going to have a go and hope it works otherwise it look like I might have to delete my tree and start again - luckily I havn't got too far with it |

hi elizabeth to delete a person you need to go to the name you want to delete click on "delete relation" buttonon the immediate family page and that should do it took me ages to figure it out good luck christine |

Hi there It won't let you delete anyone if there is someone else hanging off them (sometimes even a partner- it seems to depend on the order you put them on). If you can delete any dependant partners/children first, plus delete any partents /grandparents first you should be able to delete the offending body!!! (here speaks the voice of experiance - I had to delete a whole family line I got wrong last week - over 100 people!) Regards Maxine |

I have put my mother in law on my tree twice and it wont let me delete can anyone tell me how I do delete as it says cannot delete as she is tied to someone else on the tree Thanks Liz |
