Hi Pearl Another benefit of the decoder is that it allows you to pull all your searches together into a file, that you can then sort any way that you want. I personally find this ability to manipulate the data a huge bonus. Regards Maxine

Go to www(.)censusdecoder(.)com. Remove the brackets from that address. The 1901 Census Decoder is a program that will connect to the UK's Public Record Office 1901 census website and allow you to conduct the free searches normally used to find family members. If you group the results by pageids you can figure out who was in a household.

I, too, am having trouble accessing my family on this Census. Would someone kindly educate me as to the 1901 Census Decoder program - what is it, and I do I use it? Many thanks in anticipation. Pearl Harries
