Hi, I am looking for my great grandads birth certificate before I can go further back in my tree. I cant seem to find it on any free BMD sites but I do know where and when he was born from the 1881 census. His name was William Whatton Workman and he was born in Pershore in 1857. At the time of the census he was listed as Nephew living with William and Ellen Whatton, so I imagine that was his maternal uncle. I cant pay by credit card so cant access information on the site I found that might have it. Can anyone help? Thanks !!.

If you know when and where he was born, try phoning the appropriate register office, most of them are very helpful.
