Hi, I am new to all of this and have found the 1901 census and the 1881 - where do you all access the other records? Can you find/pay for them online, or is it a record offices - or both? Any pointers gratefully received. Thanks.

I use the Family Records Office in London, close to Angel Islington underground station. On the first floor you can look at the 1841 census through to the 1891 census on microfish, they also have 1901 census online, and on the ground floor you can trace and order certificates. The staff are very helpful, I highly recomend a visit. regard. steve
